Valentine's Day Mini Sessions 2017

Surprise! A lot is changing over here this year, like vanity-fair style lighting and a new home studio I plan to shoot in for special occasions...like valentine's day! I even made a little video of a test shoot with Amy Crosland from last weekend (below).

Who can sign up?
Only women for this one (you're my specialty!). Individuals, mothers and daughters, friends and best friends, sisters, etc. are all encouraged. Session price covers one individual. Additional individuals are $30 each, up to three people total.

How do I sign up?
Email me (see flyer above) to sign up. Payment of PayPal invoice within 24 hours of receipt locks in your spot!

What should I wear?
Solid colors. You can pick a casual look with jeans or a more formal look with a dress, whichever fits your personality best!

What about makeup and hair?
I want you to be comfortable. If you don't normally wear makeup, don't wear any. Wear your hair how you normally do. If you need help with any of these, I am here to help!

What if I need to cancel after signing up?
Because your spot is reserved only for you, no refunds will be given; however, you may reschedule once without any additional fees.

If you have any questions about this upcoming event that you want to talk about, contact me any time.

Looking forward to it!

The Lonely Flower, with Kollene Snow | Salt Lake Conceptual Portrait Photographer

I wanted this photo shoot with Kollene Snow to illustrate that idea. Like a lonely flower that blooms, sometimes unexpected ideas lead the way to the next one. "I am no bird; no net ensnares me." I also remembered a behind the scenes YouTube video by fashion photographer Joan Allen that I found by accident years ago of a shoot using calligraphy on the skin to add a dimension of edgy elegance. Combine that with a kick I've been on about oversized objects and I knew what I wanted to do.  Months ago I draped my dress form, Maggie, with yards of purple cloth I picked up secondhand for a different photo shoot. The shoot turned out okay but didn't fully captured the potential I saw in that &quo
